Says Shakti Kapoor who became the latest victim of a death hoax on a messaging service.
Early on Saturday, Shakti Kapoor woke up to a flood of calls and messages enquiring about his well-being. This was a reaction to a WhatsApp text that had gone viral declaring that the 56-year-old actor had died in a car crash on his way to Khandala. He’d just returned from a schedule of Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 in Bangkok when friends started calling and on hearing his voice began crying. David Dhawan and Rumi Jaffery were panic-stricken.”I assured them I’m fine but the calls don’t stop. I am tired of telling people that I’m not dead,” Shakti sighed.
