Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh said that he is proud of his Bajirao Mastani co-star Deepika Padukone.
“Deepika deserves the awards and accolades which she has received. One after another, she has been delivering outstanding performances. I think Piku is a special film. It is a brave and honest film. No one expected it, but it did well. I am proud of you Deepika,” said Ranveer.
Deepika won two awards for Piku – Most Entertaining Actor of The Year (Female) and Most Entertaining Actor in a Drama Role (Female), at the Big Star Entertainment awards which were held in Mumbai on December 13.
Ranveer and Deepika are excited about their upcoming film Bajirao Mastani.
“It is wonderful to see the love that people are showering on us for Bajirao Mastani. It feels wonderful to see their love and it feels good to meet fans,” added Ranveer.
Bajirao Mastani will release on December 18.
