Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya said that he made Prem Ratan Dhan Payo for Salman Khan.
“This film is only for Salman. I wanted people to adore him. This is a film with which he can change people. Youngsters go less for my movies, but if a youngster says that he wants to show it to his mother, grandmother or in-laws, then it is the biggest return and victory for me,” said Mr Barjatya.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo reunites Salman with Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years. Mr Barjatya is responsible for Salman’s Prem persona in films such as Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Sonam, who also features in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, thanked Mr Barjatya for giving her the opportunity to work in the film.
“I thank Sooraj sir for giving me such an amazing opportunity. I have enjoyed working in all the films which I have done before, but this has been the best experience. I did not expect that I would get this chance in my career to work with Salman Khan and Soorajji,” said Sonam.
